Accepting these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or ask Lightcraft Rancho Santa Margarita Sunrooms for an estimate or work. By using the site or booking with us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Lightcraft Rancho Santa Margarita Sunrooms, and "you" means the person using the site or hiring us. You can learn more about who we are on our about page.
The services we offer
We're a sunroom contractor in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. We build sunrooms, screen rooms, patio enclosures and patio covers, and we convert and remodel existing rooms for homes here and in the cities around it. The services listed on our home page and service pages describe the kinds of work we do. They aren't an offer to do any particular job.
What we'll do on your project, and what we won't, is set out in the written estimate or agreement for that job. If anything on this site differs from your written agreement, the agreement controls.
Estimates and pricing
We give free in-person estimates, and there's no pressure to book. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure during the visit, along with the design, materials and options you choose.
Some conditions only show up once work starts, such as damaged framing, a slab or footing that needs repair, or wiring that has to be brought up to code. If we find something like that, we'll stop and explain it before doing extra work, and any change to the price or scope will be agreed in writing first.
Prices or ranges on this website are general information, not a quote for your home. Your price is the one in your written estimate or agreement.
Scheduling, delays and cancellation
We'll give you a start date and an expected timeline when you sign. Those dates can shift because of weather, permit or inspection timing, HOA review, material delivery, or conditions found during the job. We'll keep you posted when something moves, but we aren't responsible for delays caused by things outside our control.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please tell us as soon as you can by phone at (949) 353-6626 or through our contact page. Your written agreement says how cancellation works on your job, including any right to cancel you have under California law and any costs for materials already ordered or work already done.
Payment
Payment amounts, due dates and accepted payment methods are set in your written agreement. Any deposit or progress payment will follow the schedule in that agreement and the limits California law sets for home improvement work.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until the account is current. Unpaid balances may also be subject to the remedies California law allows a contractor, including a mechanics lien on the property.
Warranties and disclaimers
Any warranty on our workmanship is the one written into your agreement. Products such as glass, windows, roofing panels and framing systems carry their makers' own warranties, and those are between you and the maker. We'll pass along the paperwork and help you with a claim where we can.
This website is provided for general information. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise that everything on it is complete, current or right for your home. Apart from what's in your written agreement, and to the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that come from using this website or from relying on its general information. Our responsibility for a job is limited to what's set out in your written agreement and what California law requires.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Using this website
The text, photos and design on this site belong to us or are used with permission. Please don't copy or reuse them for business purposes without asking first.
Links to other websites are for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what they say.
Resolving disputes
If something isn't right, call us first. Most problems get sorted out quickly once we're on the phone or back at the house, and that's where we'd rather start.
If we can't settle it together, either of us may take the matter to the courts in Orange County, California, unless your written agreement sets out a different process.
Governing law
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted here is the one that applies. Changes won't alter a written agreement you've already signed with us.
Questions about these terms
If you have a question about these terms or a job with Lightcraft Rancho Santa Margarita Sunrooms, call (949) 353-6626 or send us a note through our contact page. We reply within one business day.
